Issue 6 - Cookbook

Data is never given but always culturally designed and technologically embedded.

Actress Sofia Loren once said that “everything you see, I owe to spaghetti”. We could say the same about ourselves here at Market Cafe Magazine. Blame it on our Italian roots! We love cooking (and eating), so pull up a seat at the table and take a hearty bite from this experimental data cookbook.

We’ve invited 19 of the finest data visualization practitioners from 11 countries to create a visual, data-driven collection of their favourite meals. We call it The Data Cookbook issue. This special issue was produced, designed and published during the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020.

52 pages, 17.5x21 cm, paperback, hand-sewn Singer stitched binding.
Offset printed on Munken Lynx, Pantone 876C (metallic copper) and Pantone P 118-7 U.
