Issue 1 - Humanism
“When I first presented The Halo at Visualized 2015 in New York, I introduced it as a visualization system for a post-data world and I remember a lot of people got pissed off at me for that.”
Our pilot issue features the works and words of the best data visualization practitioners developing works around humanistic topics. So we made this zine. Not a zine, but this zine. Why? Because we wanted a space where designers like us can talk a length about their projects. We wanted to read about passionate research, failed prototypes, experimental joint ventures: a physical trace of all these stories. We made the world’s first independent magazine about data visualization.
